Sofia Lùndari (b. 1996) is an interdisciplinary artist who combines video, photogrammetry, 3D animation, graphic design, and sound to investigate the intricate connections between human behavior and questions about the nature of existence. Her work explores the humans behaviour on Earth and the possibilities of an afterlife, driven by a belief in the interconnectedness of all things through energy. Through her work, Lùndari aims to blend video elements with our reality, creating a space where time feels suspended and new perspectives can be explored.
Lùndari is an interdisciplinary artist and the co-founder of ghhh, a video art magazine dedicated to translating the dynamic nature of video onto the printed page. She studied at Central Saint Martins, focusing on moving image research, and graduated in 2023. In December 2023, Lùndari participated in Nouvelle Bug Vol. 2, a film residency that explored the use of video games and AI in cinema, hosted by Andrea Gatopoulos at Atelier Montez, Rome. Her works have been exhibited in galleries and screenings, including Artsest Gallery (2023), What What Reading Room Screening (2023), the British Artists' Film and Video Study Collection (2022), and Dilston Gallery (2021).
